Founded by Christophe Beauvilain, Pygmalion Capital is led by highly seasoned hotel investment professionals who have successfully navigated all stages of the European real estate investment cycle. We are a collaborative, diverse team based in London and Barcelona with deep operational expertise, a commitment to analytic rigor, and a shared passion for real estate.

  • Christophe Beauvilain
    Christophe Beauvilain
    Managing Partner

    Christophe Beauvilain, CFA, is Managing Partner of Pygmalion Capital and Chairman of the Investment Committee. He founded Pygmalion Capital Advisers LLP in 2017 and was instrumental in raising its first vehicle, focusing on special situations hotel investments in Europe. Prior to this, he was partner at Perenne Capital LLP, which provided deal sourcing and structuring in the European hotel sector, was appointed CEO and founding partner of Alphatran Capital LLP, a global equity hedge fund, and became partner at Phylon Investment Advisors, a $500M European equity hedge fund. He spent 7 years at Goldman Sachs International in London in Research and Institutional Asset Management.

    Andrew Dhushantha
    Chief Financial Officer

    Andrew Dhushantha is CFO of Pygmalion Capital with an extensive career in investment management working within investment managers as well as private equity owned portfolio companies themselves. He has over 10 years of direct Real Estate experience in various roles including Head of Finance at Aman Resorts as well as Group Financial and Fund Controller at both Terra Firma and Verdion. He has extensive experience of the entire transaction lifecycle gained across geographies and asset classes. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant as well as possesses a legal background with an LLB Hons from Leicester University. Andrew has also completed an Executive MBA at Cambridge University.

    Ramon Tomàs Ranz
    Head of Asset Management

    Ramon Tomas Ranz is a Portfolio Director with 15 years of hotel sector experience, focusing specifically on the Spanish hotel market. Before joining Pygmalion’s Barcelona office, he was head of Hospitality and Asset Management at HI Partners (now Blackstone) where he was responsible for their €300M Spanish portfolio. Ramon also worked at Reig Capital Group where he held positions as Asset Manager at the Mandarin Oriental and the W Vieques Retreat & Spa in Barcelona.

    Andreea Bodea
    Investment Director

    Andreea Bodea is an Investment Associate responsible for deal underwriting and execution. She was previously a member of Christie & Co’s London-based Hotel consultancy team, conducting feasibility studies, research projects, and commercial due diligence across Europe.

    Ariadna Planella
    Portfolio Associate

    Ariadna Planella is a Portfolio Associate based in Pygmalion’s Barcelona office where she is responsible for the asset management of our Spanish portfolio. With over four years in hotel consulting having joined from Christie & Co in Spain & Portugal, her experience covers both operational and strategic investment consultancy with a deep knowledge of the Spanish hotel market.

    Jannicke Henschien
    Office Manager

    Jannicke Henschien is an experienced Office Manager and strong administrative professional, specialising in the Real Estate industry. With a bachelor’s in International Hotel Management from Hotelschool The Hague, Jannicke has extensive knowledge of Catering, F&B, Hotel Management and Hospitality and speaks fluent Dutch and Norwegian.

    Emma Dagger
    Executive Assistant

    Emma Dagger is personal assistant to the managing partner, Christophe Beauvilain and has a decade’s worth of experience as both a private and corporate EA. She is fluent in French.
