• Christophe Beauvilain, CFA, is Managing Partner of Pygmalion Capital and Chairman of the Investment Committee. He founded Pygmalion Capital Advisers LLP in 2017 and was instrumental in raising its first vehicle, focusing on special situations hotel investments in Europe. Prior to this, he was partner at Perenne Capital LLP, which provided deal sourcing and structuring in the European hotel sector, was appointed CEO and founding partner of Alphatran Capital LLP, a global equity hedge fund, and became partner at Phylon Investment Advisors, a $500M European equity hedge fund. He spent 7 years at Goldman Sachs International in London in Research and Institutional Asset Management.

• Andrew Dhushantha is COO of Pygmalion Capital with an extensive career in investment management working within investment managers as well as private equity owned portfolio companies themselves. He has over 10 years of direct Real Estate experience in various roles including Head of Finance at Aman Resorts as well as Group Financial and Fund Controller at both Terra Firma and Verdion. He has extensive experience of the entire transaction lifecycle gained across geographies and asset classes. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant as well as possesses a legal background with an LLB Hons from Leicester University. Andrew has also completed an Executive MBA at Cambridge University.

Ramon Tomàs Ranz is Head of Asset Management with 15 years of hotel sector experience, focusing specifically on the Spanish hotel market. Before joining Pygmalion’s Barcelona office, he was head of Hospitality and Asset Management at HI Partners (now Blackstone) where he was responsible for their €300M Spanish portfolio. Ramon also worked at Reig Capital Group where he held positions as Asset Manager at the Mandarin Oriental and the W Vieques Retreat & Spa in Barcelona.

Andrew Robinson is the Business Development Director of Pygmalion Capital. He has 25 years of experience in the real estate financial service industry, across investment banking, private equity, and development. Andrew began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he spent 17 years working in both investment banking and investment management (MSIM), he was a co-founding member of the MSIM Alternative Investment Partner Real Estate team, focused on sourcing capital and investments. Subsequently, he has worked at Lipton Rogers Developments as an investment director, and Resolution Property as head of capital markets. Andrew has worked with investors from around the globe, creating solutions and designing strategies for both direct and indirect real estate mandates. Andrew holds a MComm from the University of Edinburgh, also spending one year of his course at Université Paris IX Dauphine.

Andreea Bodea, CAIA is an Investment Director responsible for deal underwriting and execution. She was previously a member of Christie & Co’s London-based hotel consultancy team, conducting feasibility studies, research projects, and commercial due diligence across Europe.

Laurence Salmon is an Investment Director with over 10 years of experience on both the owner and operator side of the hotel sector. She was most recently Assistant Vice President at Patience Capital Group. Laurence began her career at Global Holdings Management Group, a London-based real estate investment firm. She also has significant experience on the operator side, having worked at Accor, Louvre Hotels Group, and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. A native French speaker, Laurence holds an MSc from EMLYON Business School and an MBA from INSEAD.

Luciano Scarfone is an Investment Director. He has +10 years of experience in hospitality, most recently as Hotel Real Estate Senior Associate at a US-based investment firm, where he sourced, analysed, and executed a broad range of loan and real estate investments from Economy to Luxury across Europe. He graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy, with a Tourism Economics and Management degree. He is a native Italian speaker and has an advanced command of Spanish.

Ariadna Planella is a Senior Portfolio Associate in the Asset Management department at Pygmalion, based in the Barcelona office. For the past five years, she has managed the firm’s hotel portfolios in Spain and Italy. With over ten years of experience in hospitality, she previously worked at Christie & Co (Spain & Portugal) and at the local consultancy The Hotel Factory. Throughout these roles, she developed strong expertise in both operational and strategic investment advisory, leading feasibility studies, research projects and commercial due diligence processes. She has an in-depth understanding of the Spanish and Italian hotel markets, across both urban and resort destinations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Ramon Llull University – ESADE, and a Master’s Degree in Financial Management.

Adsaya Suthakar is a Finance Manager at Pygmalion Capital, supporting Andrew on financial operations of the business. She began her career at Deloitte in the Audit practice, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and developed a strong foundation in financial reporting and analysis. Since then, Adsaya has audited various business’ including private equity-backed businesses, gaining experience in sectors ranging from real estate, technology and law. Adsaya also holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Southampton

Jannicke Henschien is an experienced Office Manager and strong administrative professional, specialising in the Real Estate industry. With a bachelor’s in International Hotel Management from Hotelschool The Hague, Jannicke has extensive knowledge of Catering, F&B, Hotel Management and Hospitality and speaks fluent Dutch and Norwegian.

Emma Dagger is personal assistant to the managing partner, Christophe Beauvilain and has a decade’s worth of experience as both a private and corporate EA. She is fluent in French.
